Mr. Jim Cunningham: To ask the Secretary of State for Health how many midwives are registered in the West Midlands. [187300] Dr. Ladyman: This information is not held centrally, but is available directly from the Nursing and Midwifery Council, which is an independent statutory regulatory body.
