To ask the Secretary of State for Education and Skills, how much will be spent per learner in Stalybridge and Hyde in (a) school sixth-forms and (b) further education colleges in 2004-05. - Includes fact that Mark Haysom, the Learning and Skills Council's chief Executive will write.

James Purnell: To ask the Secretary of State for Education and Skills how much will be spent per learner in Stalybridge and Hyde in (a) school sixth-forms and (b) further education colleges in 2004-05. [185364] Alan Johnson: The Department does not collect information on the level of funding per pupil in school sixth-forms and further education colleges at the local level. Mark Haysom, the Learning and Skills Council's Chief Executive will write to the hon. Member with details of funding provided for (a) school sixth-forms and (b) further education colleges in 2004-05 in the local area covering Stalybridge and Hyde. A copy of his letter will be placed in the House Libraries.
