To ask the Secretary of State for International Development, what efforts his Department has undertaken to analyse the impact on the humanitarian situation in Somalia of the return of failed Somali asylum seekers.

Tom Brake: To ask the Secretary of State for International Development what efforts his Department has undertaken to analyse the impact on the humanitarian situation in Somalia of the return of failed Somali asylum seekers. [181828] Hilary Benn: The Home Office has returned only a small number of failed asylum seekers to Somalia this year. The impact of such small numbers on the overall humanitarian situation would be negligible.
