Mr. Beggs: To ask the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland how many cattle tested positive for (a) brucellosis and (b) tuberculosis in Northern Ireland in 2003. [R] [178386] Mr. Pearson: The information is as follows. (a) In 2003, a total of 743 cattle tested positive for brucellosis in Northern Ireland. (b) In 2003, a total of 16,066 cattle tested positive for tuberculosis in Northern Ireland.
