- Question
- To ask the Secretary of State for Health, if he will make a statement on the benefits for residents of the constituency of Huntingdon of the Health Development Agency.
- Answer
-
Mr. Djanogly: To ask the Secretary of State for Health if he will make a statement on the benefits for residents of the constituency of Huntingdon of the Health Development Agency. [172638] Dr. Ladyman: The Department has not required the Health Development Agency (HDA) to assess its effect separately at constituency level. Much of the East of England regional work of the HDA, which includes Huntingdon, is focussed on service delivery that supports the whole of the region's public health development, particularly around cancer, coronary heart disease and respiratory diseases, national healthy schools standards and the ageing population.
