Mr. Paice: To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department when he expects the Care Custody computer system to be fully operational throughout England and Wales. [170722] Caroline Flint: The current plan proposes that the Custody and Case Preparation software applications will be installed and ready for service in all 43 Police Forces by October 2005 and that Forces will have the systems in full operational use by March 2006.
