Llew Smith: To ask the Prime Minister whether he authorised the letter faxed to the right hon. Member for Birmingham, Ladywood (Clare Short) on 28 February by the Cabinet Secretary. [158946] The Prime Minister: As the Cabinet Secretary, Sir Andrew Turnbull, informed the Public Administration Select Committee on Thursday 4 March, the letter was initiated by him. I was aware of it and approved of it being sent.
