Mr. Wiggin: To ask the Secretary of State for Wales what discussions he has had with the National Assembly for Wales Government concerning the release of MRSA figures for hospitals in Wales. [217120] Mr. Touhig: I regularly meet the Assembly First Minister and Health Minister to discuss issues surrounding health care associated infections, in particular MRSA, which we take very seriously. The Assembly Health Minister, Dr. Brian Gibbons has announced a new set of proposals which will enable patients to access trust based statistics on each individual hospital in Wales.
