Proceeding contribution from Richard Taylor (Independent (affiliation)) in the House of Commons on Wednesday, 22 June 2005. It occurred during Adjournment debate on Evesham Community Hospital.
Evesham Community Hospital
(Ind): I just want to put on the record that the Kidderminster treatment centre was provided, following a Government inquiry, to perform elective surgery to relieve the pressure on the acute hospitals in the county, at Redditch and Worcester. It was not provided to rob other community hospitals of services that are being performed locally and that already take the load off the acute hospitals.
