Proceeding contribution from Peter Luff (Conservative) in the House of Commons on Wednesday, 22 June 2005. It occurred during Adjournment debate on Evesham Community Hospital.

Evesham Community Hospital

: It is important to understand that the primary care trusts do not want to make these cuts. They are not my enemy. They disagree with what they are having to do; it is not their choice. They have no discretion over the rest of their budget. The only discretion they have concerns small pots of money, as at Evesham community hospital. They are not making these cuts out of choice, but because they have no choice.
