Proceeding contribution from Martin Linton (Labour) in the House of Commons on Tuesday, 18 October 2005. It occurred during Debate on bill on Identity Cards Bill.

Identity Cards Bill

As I have come to the crucial point, many people want me to give way. However, there are many others who want to get into the debate and I would rather defer to them. The crucial part is that we have heard a lot of rhetoric. We have heard mention of South Africa and Nazi Germany and the word Kafkaesque, but none of those points is relevant.
