Proceeding contribution from Lord Phillips of Sudbury (Liberal Democrat) in the House of Lords on Monday, 19 December 2005. It occurred during Committee of the Whole House (HL) and Debate on bill on Identity Cards Bill.
Identity Cards Bill
I am most grateful to the noble Baroness for saying that. She was helpful on the warning letter, and I look forward to seeing a revision of the code; I am sure we all do. There were the other two points, however: putting in a time limit for a response; and making clear that a telephone response is available for the warning letter, as it is for the notice.
