My Lords, I cannot agree with the noble Lord. The British people well understand that in the past 10 years our trade with eastern European countries has gone up by 300 per cent. That makes an incredible difference to investment in this country and to our economy. I hesitate to agree with figures in the Times. I prefer to use the figures that I have quoted to the House.
