I promise that a further Chinese intervention will be exceptionally brief. It has been prompted by the remarks of the noble Lords, Lord Dholakia, and Lord Avebury. I served as Member of Parliament for Chinatown when I was in another place. I therefore have quite substantial form on the area. Their community has a remarkable word of mouth capacity for communicating with each other, so word goes round extremely fast. One of my enduring memories of profound affection was of being entertained by the Chinese community in basement rooms in Soho restaurants where absolutely everybody in the room was on a mobile phone. Therefore, if I wished to communicate with any of those acting as my hosts, I needed a mobile phone to do so.
