Proceeding contribution from Lord Roberts of Conwy (Conservative) in the House of Lords on Tuesday, 10 January 2006. It occurred during Debate on bill on Transport (Wales) Bill.

Transport (Wales) Bill

My Lords, once again I am grateful to the Minister for his explanation, but the points that I made are still valid. If Members of your Lordships’ House care to study Clause 8, they will appreciate fully what I said about its vagueness. I am sure that I am not the only Member of this House who regrets this kind of legislative procedure, whereby we give a vast range of powers to the National Assembly for Wales to use or not use as it sees fit. I beg leave to withdraw the amendment. Amendment, by leave, withdrawn.
