Scottish Parliaments (Candidates) Bill [HL]
My Lords, I beg to introduce a Bill to amend Section 5 of the Scotland Act 1998, to prevent persons standing as both a candidate on a regional list and for a constituency in elections to the Scottish Parliament. I beg to move that this Bill be now read a first time. Moved, That the Bill be now read a first time.—(Lord Foulkes of Cumnock.) On Question, Bill read a first time, and ordered to be printed.
