Proceeding contribution from Lord Selsdon (Conservative) in the House of Lords on Monday, 6 March 2006. It occurred during Debate on bill on Identity Cards Bill.

Identity Cards Bill

My Lords, I am sorry to persist, but many people have asked me this, particularly some friends on the Continent. The Minister went on:"““They will have an ID card that they can use; it will identify them and it will have the ability to contain their addresses but it will not show their nationality””.—[Official Report, 15/11/05; col. 1008.]"
