Proceeding contribution from Baroness Ashton of Upholland (Labour) in the House of Lords on Thursday, 16 March 2006. It occurred during Debate on bill and Committee proceeding on Electoral Administration Bill.
Electoral Administration Bill
I want to correct something that I said, because I am now advised that my speaking note was not accurate. The noble Lord is absolutely right about his paragraphs (a) and (b) of subsection (3)—they are similar, but not the same, as paragraphs (a) and (b) of the current Section 59. I put that on the record with my apologies.
