Proceeding contribution from Baroness Hanham (Conservative) in the House of Lords on Thursday, 16 March 2006. It occurred during Debate on bill and Committee proceeding on Electoral Administration Bill.
Electoral Administration Bill
I am sure we will come back to that. We have had an interesting and helpful debate. We want as near perfect a system as we can get. Too many questions have hung over the issue, particularly over postal voting. If between us we can tangle our way through to producing something that looks as if it will stand up not only to scrutiny but also to activity, then ultimately we might have done something good with the Bill. In the mean time, I beg leave to withdraw the amendment. Amendment, by leave, withdrawn. [Amendments Nos. 58 to 60 not moved.]
