Proceeding contribution from Lord Goldsmith (Labour) in the House of Lords on Tuesday, 28 March 2006. It occurred during Debate on bill and Committee proceeding on Company Law Reform Bill [HL].
Company Law Reform Bill [HL]
Having heard that very helpful explanation, I do not think that it is necessary to make reference to the appeal procedures here. They are dealt with in Clause 626, which provides that there is to be right of appeal against the decision of the hearings committee. There seems no necessity to have some special reference to that again when one comes to the sanctions.
