Proceeding contribution from Lord McKenzie of Luton (Labour) in the House of Lords on Tuesday, 28 March 2006. It occurred during Debate on bill and Committee proceeding on Company Law Reform Bill [HL].

Company Law Reform Bill [HL]

I have a great deal of sympathy with the amendments and am grateful to the noble Lord for the helpful suggestion. For the moment, I shall stop short of agreeing to make the change to the Bill as it is possible that there may be some technical issues for the registrar, but I am hopeful that we shall be able to come back to the House at a later stage with a positive answer. For the moment, I ask the noble Lord to withdraw the amendment.
