Proceeding contribution from Brian Iddon (Labour) in the House of Commons on Thursday, 20 April 2006. It occurred during Adjournment debate on Forensic Science.
Forensic Science
: Does my hon. Friend agree that instant on-site analysis has one benefit? At the moment the defence may try to imply that evidence has been contaminated on removal from the scene because it has gone through the hands of various people into the laboratory, or perhaps between laboratories. The same accusations cannot be made of analysis made instantly on the site.
