Proceeding contribution from Lord Sainsbury of Turville (Labour) in the House of Lords on Tuesday, 9 May 2006. It occurred during Debate on bill on Company Law Reform Bill [HL].
Company Law Reform Bill [HL]
My Lords, we believe that special provision is unnecessary because the amendments that we will table apply to anyone whose address is on public record. Therefore, Amendments Nos. 112 and 113 are, in this context, unnecessary. Animal rights extremists select not only directors. Other people are also attacked and an approach that applies to everyone is the appropriate one.
