Proceeding contribution from Lord Drayson (Labour) in the House of Lords on Tuesday, 4 July 2006. It occurred during Debates on delegated legislation on Pensions Appeal Tribunals (Armed Forces and Reserve Forces Compensation Scheme) (Rights of Appeal) Amendment Regulations 2006.
Pensions Appeal Tribunals (Armed Forces and Reserve Forces Compensation Scheme) (Rights of Appeal) Amendment Regulations 2006
I am grateful to noble Lords for their comments and support. I note what has been said on the Armed Forces Bill and the role of statutory regulations within it. The noble Lord, Lord Garden, raised the representations that Combat Stress has made to my honourable friend the Under-Secretary of State. We want these tariffs to sensibly reflect the disability that may have been suffered by our veterans, whether physical or mental. I will pass on to my honourable friend the comments the noble Lord has made, to fully reflect that. On Question, Motion agreed to.
