Proceeding contribution from David Hamilton (Labour) in the House of Commons on Tuesday, 31 October 2006. It occurred during Opposition day on Iraq.
Iraq
I withdraw it. I was saying that I was different from some Conservative Members who voted for the Government and would have voted in favour of war even before the weapons of mass of destruction were put in place. I give the Minister my assurance that I will vote with the Government tonight, but I will also call for an inquiry when the last of our troops come home. That is the right time to conduct an inquiry.
