Occupational Pensions
Will my hon. Friend clarify a couple of points? First, back in the mid-’90s, when legislation was introduced post-Maxwell, it was indicated that pensions would be safe from somebody doing something underhand to steal them, not that pensions would be safe if the underlying investments or the company supporting the pension scheme did not do very well.
