Ruling, in response to point of order by Claire Ward about an alleged abuse of Parliamentary privilege in using the Portcullis symbol for political purposes by the Liberal Democrats in Watford, reminding Hon. Members that the Crown Portcullis and other emblems of the House should only be used in direct communications and publications originating from the House. It should not be shown on any publicity material associated with any political parties, and that includes the content of party websites.
