Legal Services Bill [HL]
My Lords, your Lordships’ have asked the Government to enshrine in the Bill the principle that an authorised person should not be penalised for being found blameless. The Government have been unable to do that. In the circumstances I wish to test the opinion of the House. On Question, Whether the said amendment(No. 354) shall be agreed to? Their Lordships divided: Contents, 183; Not-Contents, 127.
