Proceeding contribution from Lord Baker of Dorking (Conservative) in the House of Lords on Friday, 18 May 2007. It occurred during Debate on bill on Parliamentary Constituencies (Amendment) Bill [HL].

Parliamentary Constituencies (Amendment) Bill [HL]

My Lords, I do not think that that is a view that the noble Lord shared when he was a Member of the House of Commons. I say only that I am open to offers and we can always improve on the Bill. I commend it to the House. Moved, That the Bill be now read a second time.—(Lord Baker of Dorking.)
