Proceeding contribution from Angus Brendan MacNeil (Scottish National Party) in the House of Commons on Monday, 11 June 2007. It occurred during Opposition day on Iraq Inquiry.

Iraq Inquiry

Is the right hon. Gentleman disappointed that, a minute prior to this debate, the Prime Minister walked out of the Chamber, especially in view of an answer that he gave on 25 October last year to my hon. Friend the Member for Banff and Buchan (Mr. Salmond) when he said that he would be"““happy to debate Iraq at any time.””—[Official Report, 25 October 2006; Vol. 450, c. 1515.]?" The Prime Minister then failed to turn up to a debate on Iraq exactly six days later. Today, he has missed it by one minute.
