Proceeding contribution from Tobias Ellwood (Conservative) in the House of Commons on Monday, 11 June 2007. It occurred during Opposition day on Iraq Inquiry.

Iraq Inquiry

I am intrigued as to the Liberal Democrat position. Had Britain not supported the war it is likely that we would have been invited to help with the peacekeeping efforts under resolution 1483. Can the hon. Gentleman tell the Chamber whether the Liberal Democrats would have supported Britain’s participation in peacekeeping had we not been participating in the initial war-fighting?
