Proceeding contribution from Baroness Ashton of Upholland (Labour) in the House of Lords on Wednesday, 13 June 2007. It occurred during Debate on bill on Forced Marriage (Civil Protection) Bill [HL].
Forced Marriage (Civil Protection) Bill [HL]
My Lords, in addressing the issue of sufficient time, I shall also leave my valedictory stuff until later. I pay tribute to the noble Baroness, Lady Verma, and to the team on the Benches opposite in another place who have offered time to ensure that there will be sufficient scrutiny of this legislation. I am extremely grateful to them for doing so. On Question, amendment agreed to.
