Proceeding contribution from Baroness Hamwee (Liberal Democrat) in the House of Lords on Monday, 16 July 2007. It occurred during Debate on bill on Local Government and Public Involvement in Health Bill.
Local Government and Public Involvement in Health Bill
I am sure that we will return to this because that raises again the question of the Secretary of State’s role in setting the target and, as I have said before, the fact that money so often follows the target. I have certainly given myself enough to think about for the next stage. For the moment, I beg leave to withdraw the amendment. Amendment, by leave, withdrawn.
