I thank the hon. Gentleman for that comment. I will conclude my remarks by saying that I accept that the process has been short-circuited. That is not the way I would have liked to proceed. However, that is entirely a result of the timing. It is in no way connected with the question of the name. There are two separate things: one is the process and the other is the name. In order to remove the member who has been promoted to the Cabinet, and put my right hon. Friend the Member for Leicester, East on the Committee, I hope that the House will support the motion.
