Proceeding contribution from Lord Naseby (Conservative) in the House of Lords on Thursday, 29 November 2007. It occurred during Ministerial statement on Remploy.
Remploy
My Lords, the Minister has been asked twice—once by his own Back-Benchers and once by the Liberal spokesman—for a formal report back to this House. It is not sufficient for him to say that there are devious ways to get at him. This is too important to be treated in such a manner, so can we have a categorical assurance from the Minister that there will be a formal report back from the Government on progress?
