Proceeding contribution from Jeremy Corbyn (Labour) in the House of Commons on Tuesday, 18 December 2007. It occurred during Adjournment debate on Asylum Seekers.
Asylum Seekers
In a previous debate on the subject, I mentioned the Swedish model in which a caseworker is allocated to each individual asylum case throughout its life. Is that not something that we could think about here? Constant personnel changes often lead to confusion and misunderstandings, and sometimes to the wrong decisions.
