Proceeding contribution from Baroness Meacher (Crossbench) in the House of Lords on Wednesday, 16 January 2008. It occurred during Debate on bill and Committee proceeding on Children and Young Persons Bill [HL].
Children and Young Persons Bill [HL]
I thank the Minister very much indeed for his response, and I understand the comments that he made. I am grateful to him for suggesting that we can perhaps look at adjusting the wording before Report because an important principle is involved to which I hope we shall return on Report. On that basis, I beg leave to withdraw the amendment. Amendment, by leave, withdrawn.
