Proceeding contribution from Lord Hodgson of Astley Abbotts (Conservative) in the House of Lords on Monday, 21 January 2008. It occurred during Debate on bill and Committee proceeding on Regulatory Enforcement and Sanctions Bill [HL].
Regulatory Enforcement and Sanctions Bill [HL]
I am extremely grateful to the noble Baroness for what is another valuable bit of artillery. I hope that the shrapnel will miss the Bill team but that the team understands the seriousness of what we are seeking to achieve. We may want to come back to it at a later stage, but in the mean time I beg leave to withdraw the amendment. Amendment, by leave, withdrawn. [Amendment No. 4 not moved.]
