Lisbon Treaty (No. 3)
In respect of the potential conflict between the two jurisdictions, the hon. Gentleman might recall that the July 2007 White Paper states:"““There are complex legal issues involved in EU accession to the ECHR. These problems would have to be resolved before the Government could support it.””" We have no evidence that those matters have been resolved.
