Proceeding contribution from John Healey (Labour) in the House of Commons on Tuesday, 19 February 2008. It occurred during Legislative debate on Local Government.
Local Government

Conservative Members are right to press their arguments hard in debate, but if and when the order is passed, I hope that they will accept the decision that has been taken. I hope that they will accept that it has been properly approved by Parliament, and I hope that they will lend their weight to the efforts of those implementing it. Question put:—
