Proceeding contribution from Speaker in the House of Commons on Wednesday, 20 February 2008. It occurred during Debate on bill and Committee of the Whole House (HC) on European Union (Amendment) Bill.
European Union (Amendment) Bill
Order. [Interruption.] Will the House come to order? I think the main point that the hon. Gentleman is trying to get across to the House has already been raised with the Chair and expresses the concern at the lack of debate on matters to do with defence. They have been raised on the Floor and I have already suggested that the usual business channels would perhaps be the most appropriate way to raise that concern. The matters are on the record and have been heard.
