Proceeding contribution from Lord Rooker (Labour) in the House of Lords on Monday, 25 February 2008. It occurred during Debate on bill on Climate Change Bill [HL].
Climate Change Bill [HL]
My Lords, I promise not to use the word ““brave”” again tonight. The source of the 32 per cent upper limit comes from the 26 to 32 per cent range arising out of the energy White Paper published in 2003. I do not think there is anything further I need to say in response to what has been said during the debate, and I am grateful for the support which has been expressed for the amendment. On Question, amendment agreed to. [Amendments Nos. 24 and 25 not moved.]
