Proceeding contribution from Lord Kingsland (Conservative) in the House of Lords on Tuesday, 26 February 2008. It occurred during Committee of the Whole House (HL) and Debate on bill on Criminal Justice and Immigration Bill.
Criminal Justice and Immigration Bill
I must admit, I find myself in a state of deep occlusion. I believe that the only way that I can clear it is by testing the opinion of the House. On Question, Whether the said amendment (No. 91) shall be agreed to? Their Lordships divided: Contents, 31; Not-Contents, 32. Clause 20 agreed to. Clause 21 [Credit for period of remand on bail: terms of imprisonment and detention]: On Question, Whether Clause 21 shall stand part of the Bill?
