I am delighted to follow the right hon. Member for Leicester, West (Ms Hewitt), who has been a frequent attender of these debates. She outlined well the bigger picture of what we are discussing and the successes of the European Union in the past 60 years or so. I am a pro-European, but the European Union is certainly not without its faults. For too long, power has been concentrated—
