Proceeding contribution from Nigel Evans (Conservative) in the House of Commons on Friday, 16 May 2008. It occurred during Debate on bill on Special Educational Needs (Information) Bill.
Special Educational Needs (Information) Bill
Is it possible that one reason for the lack of publicity about the programme—of which I was completely ignorant until my hon. Friend showed me a piece of paper explaining what it was—is that the Government know that it is costly, and that they can save money if people do not know about it? The sad thing is that many people who could benefit from such programmes cannot gain access to them.
