Proceeding contribution from Gordon Prentice (Labour) in the House of Commons on Wednesday, 16 July 2008. It occurred during Adjournment debate on Road Safety.
Road Safety
I do not know the circumstances and will not venture into speculation about what happened in Leicestershire. All I will say is that I grieve, and we all grieve, for those young people who lost their lives. Of course, that accident made national news, but every week—week in, week out—there is carnage on our roads.
