Proceeding contribution from Louise Ellman (Labour) in the House of Commons on Wednesday, 16 July 2008. It occurred during Adjournment debate on Road Safety.

Road Safety

I congratulate my hon. Friend on securing this important debate. Does he agree with the general conclusions of the Transport Committee on this matter: we are dealing with unnecessary carnage and tragedy, and the solution is a combination of methods, including attitude changing, skills acquisition and possible restrictions on where and how young new drivers can drive their vehicles?
