Proceeding contribution from Geoffrey Clifton-Brown (Conservative) in the House of Commons on Wednesday, 15 October 2008. It occurred during Adjournment debate on British Business (China).
British Business (China)
I say this in a constructive way. When I talk to people in China and elsewhere, they say, ββYes, we get plenty of high-level visits, and plenty of interest for business in the first flurry, but somehow that interest is not translated into actual business.ββ I ask the Minister, with UKTI, to see whether we can improve on that aspect.
