Proceeding contribution from Lord Lucas (Conservative) in the House of Lords on Monday, 27 October 2008. It occurred during Debate on bill on Pensions Bill.
Pensions Bill
My Lords, in moving Amendment No. 78C, I shall speak also to the other amendments in the group. This amendment is to raise the first question on the material detriment section: why should it be the opinion of the regulator that determines what is material detriment, rather than the facts? I beg to move.
