Proceeding contribution from Lord Glentoran (Conservative) in the House of Lords on Wednesday, 12 November 2008. It occurred during Debates on delegated legislation on National Assembly for Wales (Legislative Competence) (Social Welfare and Other Fields) Order 2008.
National Assembly for Wales (Legislative Competence) (Social Welfare and Other Fields) Order 2008
I do not wish to bang on any longer but I would like the noble Lord to take on board what the Deputy Children’s Commissioner said. She said: "““you would not believe that these things are happening in the UK and there is not an organisation there which is able or empowered to properly champion their rights””." That is a big statement from someone in her position.
